Sara is a visual artist and peacebuilder. Her participatory practice fosters connection, embraces difference, and amplifies marginalized voices, while standing as visually compelling work in its own right.
As the Founding Director of Arts Lab, she designs and leads programmes and workshops sharing her art and peacebuilding practices to encourage creative, practical ways to resolve conflict and strengthen communities.
Sara also runs the Rural Peace Hub from her home and studio in Northumberland, UK – a place fostering connections between artist activists and interdisciplinary changemakers.
Whether in the studio or working in communities, Sara’s practice is shaped by the interconnectedness of art, teaching, and peacebuilding.
